CONTROL OF POLLUTION ACT 1974, s. 61

Approval of construction works carried out by Sir Robert McAlpine over the Easter Weekend between Friday 2 April - Monday 5 April 2021 for the purpose of fixing the cladding to Tower block 2 at high level (storey 24 and above) on the façade between the two towers facing the railway line, for use of a crane to remove waste items from the top of the towers to ground level and for general site works to be completed within the buildings, including the continuation of the precast and installation of the Car Park structure.

In addition to those already agreed under Ref: 21/00109/PRICON, covering Saturday working, as follows:
18:00 to 07:00 on Monday to Fridays, 13:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays and 09:00 to 17:00 on Sundays for a period of three months from 02 February 2021 to 05 May 2021.


the following hours have been approved in addition for the Easter Weekend:
08:00 to 17:00 on Good Friday (2 April 2021), 08:00pm to 18:00pm on Saturday (3 April 2021), 09:00 to 17:00 on Easter Sunday (4 April 2021), 09:00 to 17:00 on Bank Holiday Easter Monday (5 April 2021).

local residents and businesses will be informed of the works prior to commencement and SRM will lower the siren noise for the lift and use equipment fitted with silencers to reduce any noise impact on neighbours.
A list of names and numbers for each day over the weekend have been provided and passed on to EH's out of hours service.
