RESOLVED

That, subject to the outcome of the Council’s budgetary process, a one-off grant of £5,000 be awarded from the Community Fund towards the costs of the telephone befriending service.

Reason:   To enable isolated and vulnerable residents of the Borough to be supported by the befriending calls during the pandemic.
