Additional documents:
Minutes: The Committee considered an application for permission to carry out underground works to extend the District Heating and cooling pipework from the District Heating Main. Planning permission was required for the works because Thameswey do not have statutory rights to carry out such works.
Some Councillor commented that this application had very little to do with Planning Policy and was more about highways consent. The Chairman agreed that this was an unusual application but that it was sui generis and as the applicant was Thameswey, the current scheme of delegations specified that these applications had to come before the Committee for consideration as Thameswey did not have permitted development.
Following a question from the Chairman, the Planning Officer confirmed that the application had been appropriately advertised.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be GRANTED subject to conditions. |
