(i)         To receive declarations of disclosable pecuniary and other interests from Members in respect of any item to be considered at the meeting.

(ii)        In accordance with the Officer Employment Procedure Rules, the Strategic Director - Corporate Resources, Kevin Foster, declares a disclosable personal interest (non-pecuniary) in any items concerning the companies of which he is a Council-appointed director.  The companies are listed in the attached schedule.  The interests are such that Mr Foster may advise on those items.

Decision:

RESOLVED

That  (i)    the comments on the Interim Plan made by Full Council at the meeting on 18th March 2025 be noted; and

          (ii)   the Interim Plan, included at Appendix 1 to the report, be submitted to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on behalf of the twelve Surrey authorities on or before 21st March 2025.

Reason:   The decision to submit the Interim Plan to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on behalf of the twelve Surrey authorities is a decision of the Executive.

RESOLVED

That  (i)    the advice included within the Exempt Appendix 1 be carefully considered and noted; and

          (ii)   it be confirmed that the sites should be sold freehold to the successful selected bidder as previously approved by the Executive on the 14 November 2024 in the light of the advice included within the Exempt Appendix 1.

Reason:   There are various matters which the Executive as decision makers prior to completion of the transaction need to be aware of. These are set out in the Exempt Appendix 1 under Part II of the Agenda.
